Sensory: Bold yet elegant, fully concentrated aroma of citrus fruit with layers of pink grapefruit and red apple, clean and textured showing lifted aromatics and freshness. Medium-bodied, a firm and concentrated core of lemon with brioche, apple and grapefruit is melded with layers of citrus and mouthwateringly attractive acid.
Palate: Sparkling, effervescent lifted with red apple, mealy biscuits, preserved lemon with a creamy textured goodness.
Bottling: The wine was bottled on the 19th April 2018. 5988 bottles were produced.
Fruit: 100% Estate Grown, Hawkes Bay Chardonnay
